Several web-based media organizations including Joyo Technology Pakistan Pvt Ltd and BIGO Service Pakistan Pvt Ltd, regularly known as the famous video-sharing applications Snack Video and Live/Likee, individually, have enrolled with Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) interestingly under the "Evacuation and Blocking of Unlawful Online Content (Procedure, Oversight and Safeguards) Rules, 2021."
An assertion gave by the PTA on Friday said that "critical online media organizations are needed to enlist with PTA" under the previously mentioned set of rules.
